My name is Vickie Barber-Ellis and each lovely creation you find at Sunshine Jewels is a one-of-a-kind, hand made by me. I'm an intuitive designer whose passion for music, art and spiritual beauty meld into my wearable art creations.
Creativity and artistic design began at a young age and has been one of the driving forces in my life.
My great desire for a life full of learning was key in exploring the various techniques employed in jewelry making, from learning to twist and shape wire, play with fire and hot metal, carve wax for casting, and selecting incredible elements and stones with unique characteristics - learning the tools and techniques to make cool jewelry. I love being versatile in both style and technique and hope you enjoy that diversity in the pieces I’ve created for you in my shoppe!
Located in a hidden gem called StudioV which is very close and not at all far from the famous Sedona Arizona, I give each piece special attention by hand selecting each gemstone, element and component often making my own clasps and charms. Conscious of the environment, I use recycled materials and utilize scrap as much as possible.
